Description
With this pack, you are providing your child with resources that they can explore and test to help calm themselves. Initially, you'll guide them, but as they grow, they'll become more independent (and even before a crisis, they'll know what they need). These are resources that will serve them throughout their life.
Take your time to discover the elements of the pack at your own pace. You may notice that your child is instinctively drawn to a particular item or illustration of Pipouette. Let them explore, and return to the other elements later. It's important that using the mat, faces, and cards is enjoyable for both you and your child. To achieve this, I recommend exploring and discussing them during moments when you are both relaxed and in a good mood. This is the best time for learning! It will also give you confidence to use them just before the anger becomes too intense or right after the storm has passed.
